{ Singapore welcomes me with open arms, by "losing" 1 luggage }
Apart from the outrageously stylish way of ending my little adventure in Manchester by taking a biz class seat for free.. The beginning of Singapore was a little over the top as well 4:11 AM • Friday, November 12, 2010
You see, all biz class and above passengers get this "Priority" tag on the bags which means ur bags will come out first
Ok, so I checked in 2 bags, and saw the first 1 out, waited and waited and waited.. My second one didnt come out..
So went to the Lost and Found counter, thinking that, ho sey, gonna get money from my insurance cos there isnt anymore flights out of Manchester or Munich that day wahahah..
So happy thoughts. Then just as I walked out, the lady called, "Miss LIM!!" Damn it, they found my bag -_-'''
There goes the insurance..
Oh well but what a way to start my day in Sg
{ 1 Last final post }
Ok this is going to be a long winded final post out of Manchester.. 9:32 PM • Monday, November 08, 2010
Its been exactly 1 year and 2 months after moving into Manchester and finally I can leave this place I called home..
The last 2 months was a hit hectic, moving houses and touring and stuff and I appreciate that Gemma allowed me to stay at hers..
So as a token of appreciation, I gave her 150 pounds, to pay her bills etc..
Ok, so I thought she is going to use wisely with that amount of money, apparently, I am wrong..
Thinking that they money is safely tucked into the electricty bills, she managed to rack up a 500 quid bill.. Ok so fair enough, she was with the company since March and they underestimated her electricity.. So she had 200 in credit which makes the total bill to be 300..
As usual, being extremely poor, but dressed up so nicely, she has no money to pay.. God knows where my 150 pounds went to.
Ok nvm, she asked me for more money which I think is really out of the context.. I maybe home everyday since I moved in, and she may not be home everyday since I moved in, I dun think its fair for me to give her anymore money than I should bcos baring in mind that the bill was from March all the way and the money went up slightly since September..
So out of pity, I told her I will only spare her another 50 more and no more.. So 200 pounds should be enough right, I mean I did my part to pay for the bill and 200 is almost half of the bill which I am totally not entitiled to pay..
I hope this teaches her a HARSH lesson that savings is very important and she cant just spend every penny she has in her pocket..
What a dramatic way to end my Manchester blog post..
