hahah lame...

Anyways, havent been actively blogging for a bloody long time so I am back...

Well nothing really happened 29 days into the new year.... Trying to adapt to a new environment is indeed tough...

Posting to a new lab soon, so my senior from there brought me up to the wards yesterday to witness how a marrow transplant takes place...

A 2 year old kid, my senior was cruel enough to let me witness a 2 year old kid's transplant... I know i will have to frequently visit wards, do transplants in the future but my first time and he asked me to see a 2 year old kid's transplant...

It was horrible... The kid was really spoilt, cant really blame her since she is so sick and might die even with the transplant... She vomitted throughout the entire procedure which was uncommon since it was due to a preservative added in the bone marrow...

Her uncle actually said the vomit smelt like tomato sauce, what the...

Well never mind that, but it was a really long procedure and we had to stand there just in case anything happen to that bag of marrow...

Well, apart from that

My weekend was well spent in Sentosa with my colleagues.... Will upload the pics once i get them
