{ What a day.. }

Oh man, got off work super early today at 4.45pm. Went shopping and bought myself a pair of heels. I love those, kinda like love at first sight..

Anyway, then I went Hereen and saw Elaine. She reads my BLOG!!! haha... anyway girl, if you are reading it, just wanna wish you all the best with that interview hor..

Then I went to East Coast Park to have my dinner. Saw Daniel. Havent seen him for a long long time already though we were in the same Poly.. But was glad to see him and he even called me to tell me he was leaving the hawker center.. so funny.. He's another fella going to the army early bcos he failed his Napha... haha so funny... I also fail leh, bcos I was to lazy to run the 2.4km..

I know this is a boring entry. Today was kind of a short day for me, so I have nothing to write really...

Oh and everyone seem to be overseas, Karen (USA), Roland (Taiwan) and Gene (going to Brunei soon) and me I will be going to Korea soon too... June: The month for overseas trip.

Anyways, to Roland and Gene, who are going overseas for training, take good care ya...

{ Comdemning people is my forte }
10:20 PM • Saturday, May 28, 2005
Well, I just can't stop myself from condemning people, it's not just my forte but, incidents always happen around me, so I got a lot of things to condemn about Human species..

MRT pole definition: Something for those standing to hold on not lean on.

See Singaporeans just love doing what they are not suppose to, like leaning against the poor pole. You see, without the pole, people with poor sense of gravity, will fall when the train jerks. And for your information, the SMRT train always jerks alot....

Anyway, today the train was super crowded as usual. So like always, I stood for the entire journey. Something different is that there was this ignorant boy (I called him a BOY bcos he got a Pea Brain) was leaning against the one and only pole I was near to. It just so happen that I am someone who cannot stand properly without the fucking pole. But there he was, leaning against it.

Angry me, kepy my cool, I dunno why (I used to love picking up people for a fight especially in crowded trains or buses). But it wasn't his lucky day either..

He was so "proud" of himself working in C.K Tang, he exposed his C.K Tang punch card with his name on. Ladies and gentlemen, I am about to make someone really infamous on my blog. Please remember his name, so that if you just happen to be served by him in C.K Tang whatever department, pls go tekan him. His name: Ng Zip Tong.

See the world is fair, people like him are usually ugly. But unlucky him, was not only ugly, was extremely short as well. He is no taller than me. HA sad case for a boy who can't seem to grow up even his brain remained pea size..

Suddenly, I felt so glad after this entire....

{ The day where Liverpool supporters will cry.. }
9:35 PM • Friday, May 27, 2005
Well tears of fear and sadness was what I expected... Never tears of joy.

Liverpool can really manipulate the game. Initially, AC Milan was dominating but then out of the sudden Liverpool scored 3 goals..

Then that useless European "best" striker, overnight became the "best" penatly-halfway-leg-became-wobbly striker. My favorite striker, Shevchenko, was a total disappointment.

Bcos of him, I thought Liverpool will have no chance at all, but on that night, as if he was bribed, he couldnt even score a penatly.. SHAME!!

ARH!! Frustrated sia... Why Liverpool.. I hate them.. I was brought up hating them (Bcos my cousin love them so, I did the opposite)

{ FUCK!! }
9:05 PM •
No not about smelly ppl, or stingy Singaporeans... It's my SPECS!!!

ARRHHHH.. I am half blind already and now my specs are crooked and I look so stupid!!!

Luckily, I am always dependent on contact lenses if not die sia... wear crooked specs out... so pai seh... Sure kena laugh by people one sia..

And I am so busy and there's no time to make a new pair and worst of all, it's the GSS (Great Singapore Sale) I really dun want to waste money on specs...

Ok I will tolerate with this crooked one... When I get a bit more extra cash, I will go make a new pair. For now, it's Specs strictly at home only and contacts out fullstop.

{ Blessed... }

I dunno why I always so suay ermmm or heng...

Ok yesterday, while closing the stall, one of the planks got stucked (Luckily not dropped if not I will die). So I stood there for like 5 mins trying hard to push the bloddy plank in, but failed terribly.

Singaporeans though are selfish and kiasu, but there are no lack of good Samarians. There's a guy (maybe he is not Singaporean), who was with his girlfriend, sitting at Delifrance came to my rescue (thank buddha). He was no bigger than me, about my height and maybe thinner than me, but i dunno why, he managed to push that stubborn plank in. But I fully regret that I wasn't able to give him my heartfelt gratitude. Why??

There was this idiot couple came up to the shop even though it was closed already to try shoes. I had to serve them, while the guy completed his task, so I couldnt really say thank you..

I hope to never see that couple again and I hope that couple will buy no shoes everywhere...

Bad bad me, but they stepped on my tail, I can't help it...

{ What a day }

Danielle came to look for me today at the shop. She looked as if she gained some weight. But anyway she told me something so funny...

Ok we have a secondary school friend, let me name him D. He never initiate any messages to her on MSN, until recently when Dan put up a recent picture of hers on MSN, My oh my, D msg her!! Haha... Both of us think that he has some motives. Weird isn't it, when someone who won't message you when you are online suddenly do so when you change the picture..

Anyway, heard the news that Kylie had breast cancer. A supporter of Breast Cancer Foundation, she even auction her own bra to raise funds for the organisation. I always thought that she's the only sex godness with real assets but now, "sign...."

Hopefully she won't have to do any op to recover...

{ A true story }
10:04 PM •
" She made the world believe that she was the innocent victim. But in actual fact, she put in all her effort to destroy his dignity as well as his reputation for reasons unknown."

The media:

Guy met girl at a local competition. They soon fell in love. The media was speculating it, but was unable to give concrete evidence of them dating. It was until Feburary, when someone leaked the news out about them registering their marriage. The newspaper covered the story the day after guy went overseas to record his album, while girl too went to the same country to "visit a group of friends". The media desperately trying to reach the guy for comments, but weren't successful. However, the girl was reached and gave her side of the story. She appeared upset and blame the guy for the ROM incident. It was only after a couple of days or weeks later when the guy was reached for comments. He only said, " It was a mistake and I regretted it."

The incident then subsided until recently when the girl called guy "merciless"in a local newspaper.

And now of cause in your mind, you must be feeling sympathetic for the girl. But before you do that and think why the guy did harm to her, let me tell you the actual side of the story.

Actual story:

It wasn't guy who suggested to register the marriage. It was girl who forced the guy to do that. And foolishly, the guy said okay to it. Girl has always come across as a very independent, straight forward and strong minded person. And because of her attitude (she's more than an ah lian), guy's parents hated her.

Girl actually went with guy to record his album. Once again, it was girl who forced guy to bring her there.

There is an extremely high possibilty that girl was the one who eaked out the ROM news to the media.

And why she did it, is not known.

Now it's a true story. It was told to me by their mutual friend. If you are smart enough and you read the newspaper or tabloids, you will know who I am talking about. I withheld the names to protect the guy's identity and to prevent myself from getting into any legal trouble. Please dun come and ask me who. Cos even if you make wlid guesses and got it right, I will still keep my mouth tight.

Read the Newspaper, once again, ACS (Barker Road) male teacher was accused of molestation.

I wondered how true is it..

Is there an increasing number of paedeophilic?? Why are these cases of molestation or underaged sex kept appearing in our newspaper? Perverts!!

Just wondering were this teachers traumatised when they were younger, that's why they became revengeful and took it all out on these poor little kids..

I swear, I will never send my child to a single sex school.

{ Unforgettable bus ride }
10:27 PM •
Now who can ever imagine a bus ride can be so, well, interesting.

I was on my way home yesterday after a tired day of work, but my mood was sudddenly perk up by this guy who was sitting behind me, talking to his girlfriend.

Ok initially, I thought this guy must be someone, who is trying to act extremely well-read but with very limited vocabulary (he kept using the word freaking). But then interestingly, the more I hear (eavesdrop will be a better word) what he was talking about, the more interesting it got.

He, I think is some historian living in the 1800s. The entire journey, he was talking about liberalisation, comparing colonial ruling by the British, Portugese and Dutch. Then he went on explaining why the Dutch pronouce J as Y.

So, I thought it will be agonising to be his girlfriend listening to all that crap. Surprisingly, the girlfriend is one of her kind too. She must be another historian that contributes to the Heritage Museum.

I swear it was so funny that if I'm with someone else that that time, I would have laughed like crazy. Imagine, 2 young adults talking about history that was happened so long ago. Aren't we taught to look forward in life? Well, obviously, they are living life backwards.

{ Happy birthday May babies!! }
12:17 AM • Thursday, May 12, 2005
Went to celebrate the May babies birthday today. To those people who didn't turn up, too bad!!!
Hahaha!!

Being myself, I love to criticise people, so now let me tell you a story. Ok, inform the group of people to meet on Wed. So those who cannot go, sms me and informed me about their absence. However, I was shocked when I saw this girl, let's name her S, at the MRT station with a friend. And guess what she told me why can't she come because she was working.

Unlucky her was caught by us. I was really disappointed and I detest people who turn down my kind invitation with a big fat lie. I don't mind if you tell me the truth, but if you are lying, please dun let me catch you red handed, I am capable to tarnish your bloody reputation online.

Ok enough of complaining, it was a really disappointing day, even Serene didn't turn up. Was a bit upset with it seriously. But you know what, I am not going to let myself get affected by it. But hopefully, next time, when we meet up, it will be complete. And that means all 20 of us. A bit impossible but that's just my wish.

Anyway, watched Amazing Race now.. So glad that Rob and Amber didn't win muhahaha!!

{ Humans }
8:47 PM • Tuesday, May 10, 2005
You know, humans (I mean Singaporeans actually) are extremely weird creatures.

Especially Singaporeans. Every morning, it's an agony to take the MRT to work especially when you are pregnant. Singaporeans (especially working class Singaporeans) are very inconsiderate. They will always turn blind whenever there is a pregnant lady or elderly standing in front of them. Okay, let me be fair, not all Singaporeans are like that. But generally, the working class adults are all so inconsiderate. I just can't stand it. Sometimes, I really want to tap on their shoulders wake them up, or throw their newspaper away and get them out of their sits to allow those people who needs it more than them to sit.

Pregnant ladies cannot stand too long. It will put an extremely huge pressure on their poor little feet (if those are as small as mine). So why can't people just stand and let them sit? It's not too difficult right. Just stand up. But the sad thing is, no one will do that. According to my observation, only 1 in 10 working adults will do that. They looked educated but in fact without such conscience, I consider them as "intellectually disabled".

Study so much, act as if they are highly educated but with such low class act of theirs, it's more than enough to put them to SHAME. Being evil myself, I sometimes really hope that when they are old, or when those female species become pregnant, I hope they will suffer similar faith. Then hopefully, they will think back and feel gulity. But then it's too late. There is no back to the future in real life.

I disregard them as educated. Okay I detest them. I dun deny it. That why, when I am pregnant, I will never want to take public transport knowing that no one will take a pity on my poor stressed out feet.

Oh ya, another incident happened today. Once again those working adults. I think they can become the official spokepeople for a campaign on inconsiderate humans. They make good ambassadors.

Anyway, I was queueing for my turn to get a table in Sakae Sushi. Those idiots. They finished eating already!! But then, their sickening butts refused to let them get up and get out! They continued sitting there, laughing at those pathetic people who are queueing outside trying to get a table asap (okay, I made this up). I wanted to go to their table and pull all of them out and throw them into the dustbin. But being petite myself, of cause I can't do it. So I purposely comment about their behaviour loudly, hopefully one of them will have elephant ears and hear it and get out.

Whatever it is, I hope they will feel gulity one day.

{ Journey to the past }
8:38 PM •
Did nothing today, went out to have sushi with my mum and a cousin of mine.

While walking through Orchard MRT, my mum reminded us when we were young (about 10 years ago) how we (my cousin, my mum, my sis and me) used to wait for each other on Saturdays in Orchard MRT. Usually, whoever turns up first, will patiently wait for the other party, sitting at the granite plank beside the escalator to Popular Bookstore. Time past so fast. Now that I am already hitting the 20 mark.

Thinking back, it was kind of weird. I dunno why but I just can't believe that 10 years past so quickly. And my mum was jokingly telling me that in 10 years time, I should not be shopping in Orchard with her or my cousin, but I should be shopping with a child and a husband.

My mum is crazy. Really crazy. Dunno what the hell is going inside her brain to come out with such a funny future of mine. But seriously, even if I am married with kids in 10 years time, I will never want to bring my kids to Orchard. They are just too troublesome to be brought around in such a busy district. Anyway that's just a thought, I haven't even found a boyfriend yet and my mum can go on and think about my husband. Funny.

My blog music is dead once again.

Dunno what happen and I dun want to know what happen.

Why why why it always happen. I am already suffering from an excruciating headache. Dun want to waste time fix this bloody problem.

Is Bush really going to make blogging illegal? I personally think he shouldn't because even ex US president like Bill Clinton keeps a blog. Anyway that's none of Singaporeans business i guess...

It's really frustrating when you need to crack your brain into half to think of birthday presents to buy for your friends, worst of all when we need to crack our brains for 4 birthday girls.

Got a major headache when I got home. The present for Zah was the worst, we totally had no idea what to buy for her, in the end, we bought one half of her present today and the next on Wed. Imagine last year when I had to do this job with only Sheila and Serene to help out, I really had no idea how we managed to buy all their presents in one day without the need to really crack out head to think carefully what to buy. As time goes by, I guess when you know your friends really well already, you start to think more especially what they like and what they don't like. And when you know what they don't like (worst still if they dislike a lot of things), it will narrow your your field of search. This is bad because you will be left only with very little options.

Sunday was an off day for me, but I had to help out my parents. Business was not too bad considering that it rained throughout the whole morning and afternoon. After closing, had dinner there, had red wine, crabs and lots of good food there. Ate (erm drink I guess) too much and almost couldn't wake up in the morning to go to work. I was half asleep while opening the shop, and guess what, while I was keeping the planks of metal that seals the shop into a cupboard, one plank droped. The loud "Piank" shook everyone in Delifrance with one male shouting loudly. Luckily, no one was walking there at that time. Couldn't imagine if it hit anyone, I will be dead.

Tomorrow off again. Finally can get my beauty sleep. Tired tired tired...

Heard the news?? Some scholar was sued for an article he put on his blog..

The true meaning of blog to me: An outlet to vent frustrations and to update what's going on around me. But now, this freedom is gone, you can be sued for putting what others think as an incorrect article or phrase.

A blog is supposed to be personal, so everyone can expect one sided stories, but just because he said something that the agency that sponsored his scholarship thinks is inaccurate and believes that it tarnishes their reputation, doesnt mean that he is correct. His side of the story maybe incorrect but like I said, a blog is a personal outlet, if that's what he think, he will write them down is it??

Isn't our country suppose to be a democratic country with the freedom of speech. But now, apparently, people can sue us of what we write on our blogs. We had lost this freedom fellow bloggers. I am disappointed, seriously. I thought a blog was somewhat like a personal diary, and I came to have one because I don't want to waste money to buy more diaries to write my daily entries. Poor me, I must mind what I say in future...

{ First week of work }
9:59 PM •
I never know work could be so tiring especially in such an olu shop in Ngee Ann City.

The shoes are so expensive and yet there are people out there who only wear their shoes...

Weird right..

Anyway, the shoes there are made up of calf leather, so I cannot wear them even if they give me for free. I am a devoted Buddhist remember... I always pray to my Buddha (see all pervious articles) .

I want to celebrate my results really, but I have no time.. Work has taken up 3/4 of my time.. What to do when I want to earn extra money..

Anyway, got a shock today, a japanese couple spoke to me in perfect chinese... I mean Chinese that were better than mine.. I regard my chinese as average but theirs are good... They only lived in Shanghai for 3 years but yet they could speak flawless chinese..

Hai... Everyday I meet different people with different culture and background... I HATE CHINA tourist!!!! They are so fucking stupid and cheap... Kept asking for discount.. Hello.. High end shoe shop ok not a pasar malam... How can they bargain just like that... Or maybe, they think it's some shop selling fake branded goods like those in China.. Hey no offence to those China people who are not like that.. Just that, almost all those China tourist asked me the same thing, you da ze ma (got discount?)

Oh ya before I end, Chong Lin!! Thanks for teaching me how to convert this stupid thing into English...

{ Sexy voice }
9:32 PM • Sunday, May 01, 2005
Whenever after a bout of flu or cough, I will get this sexy or I like to call it the Tau Kua voice... It's so husky, I think people are laughing at me... But whatever it is, I still must talk if not how to serve my customers...

Today was the first day of work, I was really surprised to see people who are very willing to fork out S$300 for a simple pair of shoes. I do agree that a pair of comfortable shoes is extremely important and I do not mind paying so much for one, but some people actually bought it without blinking their eyelids. They are rich and can spend in such an expense. I even heard some stories that my manager told me, a doctor actually always buy 6 pairs of shoes and give them away. How generous!! But I also think she has a serious shopping problem.

Tired day at work and my stomach is full of wind, kinda uncomfortable now.

Welcome.
