I was just talking to Gemma about money and stuff..
See when I say I am broke, it means that my UK bank account is really broke.. But I will still manage
But when Gemma says that she is broke, she is really broke..
And I get why she is always BROKE..

When she is out with a date with her bf, new clothes..
Every new clothing needs a new pair of shoes and some accessories..
Ok fine.. But when u have no money, you probably wont wanna spend 40 pounds minimum to dress up..
Her cupboard is so full until the door cannot be closed. And yet, everytime, new things will "enter" her cupboard "mysteriously"
She is earning money and not as if earning little money.. 1100 pounds for a student is ALOT of money.. If I have that kind of money, I dun think I will be broke..
Then this reminded me of my friend..
A sterotypical AH LIAN who when I first mentioned about me studying in Manchester now automatically thinks that ang mos are rich..
U guys have no bloody idea how poor they are! First they dun earn alot, the tax is rubbish and worse thing of all, they spend every single penny they have..
No wonder this country is getting from bad to worse and even their own citizens are worried about the future..
