{ Girls: Always letting your emotions ruin your life! }
Yesterday, was at Sarah's.. She is leaving for Brisbane tmr, so we had a small little meetup just the 2 of us, Gemma is busy suntanning in Egypt! 5:50 PM • Wednesday, July 07, 2010
Ok so, Heather, Sarah's friend, suggested that they will meet up for a good meal on Wed, as part of a farewell..
And so yesterday, Heather texted Sarah, saying that she cannot afford to go, cos of monetary issues.. Ok so fine, Sarah suggested them to meet after dinner (They were going to go on a double date with Heather and her bf Pete, and Sarah and this guy Will)
Ok so long sotry short..
Heather and Pete stays in Disbury, which is about 30 minutes from us and on many occassions, had cancelled meetings with Sarah and "forced" Sarah to meet in Disbury..
Ok since Sarah is a nice girl, so she decided, its alright to meet in Disbury.. However this time is different..
You see, this is suppose to be a farewell for Sarah and Heather had it planned ages ago (Yes she planned it, and ruin it).. and now, cos of money (which is understanable), they decided that they want Sarah to go to Disbury to meet them instead of having a nice meal!
Ok as Sarah's friend, I think that its very inconsiderate for them to suggest Sarah to go down to Disbury knowing that its not near her place and she needs to fly off on Thursday, another point, Sarah got so upset becos they were texting each other (times like that, texting is just going to misunderstand each other further), balling her eyes out, cos she felt awful for rejecting Heather..
So this Heather turned off her phone and her bf texted Sarah: Heather is very upset now cos of this issue, if u are not going to meet as at Disbury, then this is goodbye, I hope you have a safe trip..
Basically, telling Sarah, to FUCK OFF!
Ok men, are often very insensitive when things like that happen but cant you be a bit nicer by calling Sarah and explain the whole situation..
So that drama went on for the entire night and finally was settled with Heather calling Sarah.. So they agreed to meet for drinks in town instead
Moral of the story:
I dunno what do u guys think, but to me, its seems like this doesnt happen to us, maybe bcos SG is small and we always compromise each other by meeting in town, which is the easiest way.. and maybe in SG, food is cheap as compared to UK
But I seriously dun understand what this Heather is thinking, by turning off her phone.. To me that is really rude and even if it does mean u are upset, I dun see the point of turning your phone off and thinking that Sarah is going to make another exception..
Though in the end it was a happy ending, to me, Heather and Pete are extremely inconsiderate.. and even if they are nice people, I probably wouldnt want to be friends with them after this "come to Disbury instead" thing happen more than once..
Selfish!!!
And plus, I will never, EVER cry over such small issue!
