{ Beautiful Bath and Horrid London }
So, I just came back from my London and Bath trip with Shu Zhen and it was really fun :)) 7:10 PM • Saturday, July 24, 2010
Taking a train to London takes about 2 hours from Manchester so it was not too bad
Look at how horrible the Tube is, Narrow to the MAX

Bath was really scenic with lots of old Roman buildings that was preserved and the visit to Roman Bath was more than words can describe but you will start to wonder how did people actually build this thing.. However, the weather once again was a major disappointment!! Lucky for us, we were able to see lots of stuff before it started raining heavily

Well second day we started late into London.. Nice weather and not sunny so it was great to walk...
We took the london bus, and guess what! The bus was driven by a REALLY REALLY CUTE EYE CANDY!!! We tried to take pictures of him but FAILED!!! But he looks a little like Andy Roddick, the tennis player just without the weird nose.. I literally jumped when I saw him and was like, WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS HANDSOME GUY DRIVING A BUS????
Ok nvm.. SO we went to Harrods look around and walk around.. And went into Chanel, major mistake.. The bags there are at least 500SGD cheaper even without tax rebate and best thing of all, I actually overestimated with the exchange rate of 2.3 instead of the current 2.1 and its still so god darn cheap!
Then Selfriges & Co.. it was at least 5 times bigger than the one in MANC!!! But didnt buy anything
Primark: OMFG! If I thought Primark in MANC was bad, this was horrid!! Its so crowded that u can hardly walk and they need like 22 cashier counters open at some areas to clear the massive traffic of queueing!! CRAZY!
Ok not forgetting the famous, Baywaters' Duck.. YUMMMMYYYYYYY
Then on the tube, guess what we saw
A young man, around 20 maybe was carrying some clutches, carrying not holding.. Walking into the station nonchalently..
Sekali, the moment the train comes, he started holding onto the clutches as if he was really crippled.. Motive: To get a SEAT ON THE TUBE!! Shame on him, going so far just to get a seat..
Ok picture time: I have only the Bath ones cos I forgot to charge my camera.. OOPZZZ

Even this child appreciates the history

{ Is back from the lovely Edinburgh }
I have nothing much to say about this city but it embraces both old and new architecture like no other city has.. 8:55 PM • Sunday, July 18, 2010
It has probably one of the most museums of different themes. We went to the childhood one which was really good as we get to re-live what we had during our younger days.. And ironically, the museum was opened by someone who hates children hah..
An expensive place to live in but if you are interested in history, this is one place highly recommended but one bad news was, the apartment we were staying was next to this graveyard of a famous poet.. Well I mean I am not pang tang, but that stupid Vivian kept saying those things in front of the dismissed.. I should have just shot her in the mouth to be honest..
Another place strike off from my must-go.. Here are the pictures....

Rows of pubs.. Should have stayed near that place

I hope the clothes inside this shop is not ORH beat hah

No WAY I am going to trek up there

Their parliament building

Scotland is well known for their Scotch Whiskey... Here is one in a chemical bottle, how cool

{ Is my little space intruded? }
11:38 PM • Tuesday, July 13, 2010

I feel that this space has welcome some of the unwelcomed..
I cannot speak nor say anything without doubts in my head: Who has read it, or who is going to read it?
I have alot of things to say, to share and to bitch about, but I have to be very careful, bcos these posts are often not words of wisdom, but rather intriguing thoughts from my brain cells..
I find certain situation that I cannot speak as freely as I wanted to as this page here is being read by a lot of people I know from different directions and walks of life...
I just hope that one day, I will not regret anything that is being posted up here.. Bcos I know these writings are just ways for me to communicate with the world outside..
To end this post, I just wanna say:
I hope oneday, you will know that my heart, brain and whatever u can find in me has left a long long long time ago.. I think I will regret it in future, but for the time being, I will just go with it, go with the promise I told you not so long ago...
{ I just need to rant }
Sometimes I just feel that YOU talk too much for your own good... 9:00 PM • Friday, July 09, 2010
I feel that YOU have invaded my privacy between me and my other friends..
I DON'T see the need of inviting you to every outing me and my other friends have simply bcos, YOU talk too much for your own good..
People see you as easy going, but I simply see you as very kaypoh.. It may sound harsh, but sometimes, when YOU talk, you never regard anyone's feelings and just say the things you know, which may in turn be things that I DONT want anyone to know..
YOU have been a great friend I must admit, BUT I just dont see the need of you trying to meet all my friends just simply bcos I DONT want YOU to blunt out something inappropriate all the time like you always does..
I DONT HATE YOU I really dont.. But sometimes, I just feel that if you could SHUT UP, my life would be so much better, I can have the peace with my OTHER friends and my own privacy whenever I want too..
There is absolutely NO NEED of all my friends to meet YOU even if YOU want to meet them, bcos I never ask, not even a single time, when ur friends are around, that I WANT to meet them and I never speak inappropriately about YOU, maybe bcos everyone knows about YOUR NOT so private life
I am NOT YOU, so please give me some private space that I need between myself and other friends, cos sometimes, your presence is just plain embarassing!!
{ Girls: Always letting your emotions ruin your life! }
Yesterday, was at Sarah's.. She is leaving for Brisbane tmr, so we had a small little meetup just the 2 of us, Gemma is busy suntanning in Egypt! 5:50 PM • Wednesday, July 07, 2010
Ok so, Heather, Sarah's friend, suggested that they will meet up for a good meal on Wed, as part of a farewell..
And so yesterday, Heather texted Sarah, saying that she cannot afford to go, cos of monetary issues.. Ok so fine, Sarah suggested them to meet after dinner (They were going to go on a double date with Heather and her bf Pete, and Sarah and this guy Will)
Ok so long sotry short..
Heather and Pete stays in Disbury, which is about 30 minutes from us and on many occassions, had cancelled meetings with Sarah and "forced" Sarah to meet in Disbury..
Ok since Sarah is a nice girl, so she decided, its alright to meet in Disbury.. However this time is different..
You see, this is suppose to be a farewell for Sarah and Heather had it planned ages ago (Yes she planned it, and ruin it).. and now, cos of money (which is understanable), they decided that they want Sarah to go to Disbury to meet them instead of having a nice meal!
Ok as Sarah's friend, I think that its very inconsiderate for them to suggest Sarah to go down to Disbury knowing that its not near her place and she needs to fly off on Thursday, another point, Sarah got so upset becos they were texting each other (times like that, texting is just going to misunderstand each other further), balling her eyes out, cos she felt awful for rejecting Heather..
So this Heather turned off her phone and her bf texted Sarah: Heather is very upset now cos of this issue, if u are not going to meet as at Disbury, then this is goodbye, I hope you have a safe trip..
Basically, telling Sarah, to FUCK OFF!
Ok men, are often very insensitive when things like that happen but cant you be a bit nicer by calling Sarah and explain the whole situation..
So that drama went on for the entire night and finally was settled with Heather calling Sarah.. So they agreed to meet for drinks in town instead
Moral of the story:
I dunno what do u guys think, but to me, its seems like this doesnt happen to us, maybe bcos SG is small and we always compromise each other by meeting in town, which is the easiest way.. and maybe in SG, food is cheap as compared to UK
But I seriously dun understand what this Heather is thinking, by turning off her phone.. To me that is really rude and even if it does mean u are upset, I dun see the point of turning your phone off and thinking that Sarah is going to make another exception..
Though in the end it was a happy ending, to me, Heather and Pete are extremely inconsiderate.. and even if they are nice people, I probably wouldnt want to be friends with them after this "come to Disbury instead" thing happen more than once..
Selfish!!!
And plus, I will never, EVER cry over such small issue!
{ For the first time }
The moment I open my letter with my results 9:25 PM • Thursday, July 01, 2010
I wanted to jump for joy~~
For the first time in my life, my results were beyond expectation!
I only got a high merit of 67, and the rest are 70s and 80s, which means I have all distinction expect for 1 (kinda expected that one, cos I struggled with it to be honest)
I am so so so so HAPPY!!!
