{ Sydney Day 4 }
Ok day 4 started out fine 1:21 PM • Saturday, August 23, 2008
One thing I love about this trip was the own time own target we had.. We dun really bother about waking up early or whatsoever, or covering particular places during the day
So today, Karen decided to bring us to The Rocks... I dunno why its called The Rocks, but what the heck..
We had breakfast at this place cant remember the name but it wasnt as good as the Hoochie Mama

After breakfast, we took a bus down to The Rocks, which is conventionally located near the Opera House and The Habour Bridge

This picture below was taken outside a Art Museum, we didnt go in though, I am not an Arti Farti person anyway

See Behind US!!

So at The Rocks, there is this weekend market happening.. Lots of stuff but only got to buy some soft nougats for my family and colleagues...
Then we went to this other chocolatier inspired cafe.. and there was this cupcake shop opposites that sells cute cupcakes.. Karen bought some for us to try

YUMMYY!!!
Oh yea then my camera went dead on me haha
NVM... Then we went to Paddington!! I BOUGHT MY KSUBI JEANS!!! and its 100 dollars cheaper!! yeah!!
Absolute nosebleed in Paddington cos i spent alot of money there
We then went to Bondi Beach for dinner
Who goes to Bondi in Winter anyway.. We had ribs and such but too bad no pictures... Actually with karen.. will upload them once I have them
So that was Day 4 and then time for packing as we head to Hunter Valley and Blue Mountains!!!
{ Sydney Day 3 }
Day 3 started off in a lousy mood, ok we had to pay for our fine okay… Nah Beh! But before that, we took a walk and took lots of pictures inside Karen’s Uni. It reminded me of my own uni days…. 3:52 PM • Saturday, August 09, 2008

The coolest part, they even have a graffiti tunnel for whichever Tom, Dick or Harry who wants some space for their own cool creations.

So we paid the fine then went to this place for breakfast. Wow for vegans! That was the best vegetarian BF for me man
Yummy!!

BEFORE

AFTER

Then we went to the Glebe Market, a weekend flea market that was in the courtyard of a school. So on regular days, the field is actually a normal school field..

I didn’t buy much there except for some sweets.

Oh we saw something funny,
FOR BUTTS ONLY!! haha

Then we went to Darling Harbour. Whao that place is BEAUTIFUL!!! All the nice yachts and such. Seriously, an understatement if you call it a Singapore’s Keppel Bay. This place is by far better than that. With lots of pubs, restaurants and such
Chocolate lovers out there must have heard of Lindt Chocolate. But heard of Lindt café. Basically a café that was opened to exhibit the best of chocolates. Imagine the a mouth full of world class chocolate melted and then add in with Aussie milk. Its just yummy. Best of all, the chocolate syrup and the milk were not pre-mixed. So you can just mixed it up for your own taste buds.

Then we went to the Wildlife Park which is right smack in the middle of Darling Harbour.
SNAKES!! YIKES!!

Surprise Surprise.
Its Illegal to touch Koalas in New South Wales. WTH

Wildlife park has too many pictures..

{ Sydney Day 2 }
Okay, Day 2 basically was spent in DFO, Direct Factory Outlet, about an hour off from where we stayed. 3:39 PM •
First Up, we had breakfast at Hoochie Mama's (what the hell name, I know)
Yummy

Nothing much but the suayest thing happened to us. So Karen bought us all concession tickets that we were not suppose to be buying. And Karen always buys them since 3 years ago but she was never eligible for it, but she never got caught. So we were like what the heck. On our way there, the police came up to the train to check on out tickets, but didn’t ask for much as they were only interested in whether we bought any tickets or not.
But on out way back, we got caught but the ticketing staff. Shit I know, so being good girls, they gave us summon and we had to pay 200 Aussie in fine..
Ok heres the NBCB summon we got

Wa lau eh, really cussing and swearing lor, why we so heng..
But anyway we then had dinner with Nora, Judy and Eun. Nora and Judy were classmates of Karen and Eun was a friend of Judy. So we had dinner together at The Viet.

Ok thats day 2
{ Sydney Day 1 }
Ok lets start with the airport… 8:30 PM • Wednesday, August 06, 2008
Who says Terminal 3 is fantastic, seriously, besides the shops in there, the facilities to make people awe over, what the heck, I see none ok..
The shops are ok, pretty but okay, the seats worthy for its hefty price tag, nope. The worst thing of all, how can they put those boarding gates together with only 3 rows of security checks?!?! I mean seriously, why must they do that, cant they put each boarding gate to have their own security checkpoints like what they did to T1 and T2. Later than I found out it was only boarding gates A1 to A5 sharing the checkpoints, what the heck, but whatever it is, it was a waste of time. I queued for about 20 minutes before getting scanned and inside the boarding area, chaotic. Too many people too many gates. Hello A380 itself carries almost 500 people so why only 3rows???

A380 was a blast (shouldn’t say blast in case the airplane really blast), it was so silent throughout the entire flight, I thought the engine was not moving.. haha silly me I know, but it was all good but again, I couldn’t sleep, I dunno why.
Once I reached Sydney, wa lau eh, it took me nearly 1 hour before my I see my luggage, so slowww. The taxis I was in lost his way had to have Karen on the line to navigate where we need to go so wasted a lot of time there.
Went to her apartment first thing I asked was for her bed haha, I need sleep before Zi Wei arrives, so I did.
First stop, the city centre. It was probably 3 times the size of Orchard Road and I am not kidding. There were so many buildings and shopping centres. We went to this very antique looking building known as the Queen Victoria Building. It was stunning inside and outside. The building was probably built in late 1800s or early 1900s, not sure when but everything inside the building was very well maintained. Beautiful I must say.

Wahah Karen's Candid shot!!!

And Yinz, just for you, 4 levels of Supre haha, we went there but I bought nothing, you happy.. Actually it was nothing much la just very messy piles of clothes everywhere.

Oh Yeah and FREE HUGS!!

Then we went to Skytower, it was like Seoul Tower, giving you bird’s eye view to the entire Sydney. Karen was like a Geography teacher, she knows exactly where was what when we were at the Tower.
Can you see the Harbour Bridge????

We did a lot of shopping and guess what, in one of the shops that I was in I saw someone so familiar sitting somewhere waiting for her BF, Eileen my Secondary School friend. Why in the world I meet friend in Sydney and that was not even surprising cos Eileen happens to know Karen as well, I was like, why are the 2 of you hugging each other when she is my sec sch friend and you were my poly friend (Karen). Ironically, their mum knew each other and they knew each other since young. What a coincidence!!
Then we had dinner with Nora. I love that girl, she is soo cute and funny!!!
So that was day 1.
{ Aussie Rules!! }
Woohoo bacl from Sydney more recharged than ever 11:14 AM • Saturday, August 02, 2008
